Baked Dango

Freshly prepared and served with the best taste.

We bake our Dango in our shop. We are able to deliver the best taste and texture because the dango is delivered freshly made when the customer orders it. Mitarashi and Anko (red bean paste) are poured over the Dango to maximise the freshness of the Dango, allowing our customers to enjoy the fresh taste of the Dango.

How to enjoy Dango

Please enjoy them freshly made. The slightly warm dango has a sticky texture and sweetness that spreads in your mouth.

Daifuku filled with domestically produced azuki beans made with Habutae rice from Shiga Prefecture

We use plenty of domestically produced azuki beans in pursuit of a richer flavor. In addition, Habutae rice produced in Shiga Prefecture is used for the Daifuku rice cake. We have paid particular attention to the azuki ingredients so that you can fully enjoy the rich flavor of the azuki beans. The mochi rice used to make the skin has an exquisite and chewy texture that brings out the stickiness of the mochi rice just right. This is a long-selling product of Kikuya that will be discontinued as soon as it is sold out.

Daifuku

Luxurious taste of domestic azuki beans

Domestic azuki beans are characterised by their rich flavour and fullness. We use plenty of these richly-flavoured azuki beans and fill the Daifuku with them lavishly. One bite and the sweetness and deep flavour of the azuki beans will fill your mouth with bliss.

Collaboration between Habutae rice and mochi rice

Daifuku is made from Habutae rice and mochi rice from Shiga Prefecture, and is truly a perfect balance of sticky and glutinous textures. The stickiness of the mochi rice and the delicate texture of the hanejyu rice are a perfect match, creating a harmony between the mouth-watering skin and the azuki beans.

Our Daifuku is a luxurious product made with a generous amount of domestically produced azuki beans, and makes the most of Shiga Prefecture’s ingredients. We hope you enjoy its rich taste.
